Well, basically my week was filled with meetings and outings. Meetings for the World Heritage Site event, where I am the Chief Programmer for the event. My source of my 5 points. If not, I would not have a room to stay by the end of this semester. The event is like 2 more weeks away and yeah, the nearer it is, the busy we are.. Then, I had meeting for FOC 2012. For those who does not know what is FOC, FOC=Freshman Orientation Camp, not Free of Charge..Again, I'm one of the Chief Programmer of the camp.. There are other small small meetings like Rotaract, Merdeka Night and etc.. Trying not to be a nerd I suppose?? Sometimes all these could be a burden, but sometimes it is something that I can look forward to besides study study and study..

Last saturday, I went for "garang Guni" session..I dunno why they named it "Garang Guni"..But, it is a famous and known event among Singaporeans that it is a recycling event. So, we Rotaract members went to Lakeside residential area to get all the recyclable items to sell to the Garang Guni man, and all the profits will go to the Orphans in Vietnam..Meaningful event indeed. Though it was tiring, but it is just very satisfying when you know you are blessing others. We had fun too throughout the event. And most importantly, I have come up with a few conclusions after going from house to house, from 9.30am to 4pm.
1)Some of the dogs in Singapore are just pathetic, and I think they are sad..No place to run..
2)The condition of a house with a few guys, especially PRCs is just terrible.
3)People like to lock themselves in the house, gloomy and scary condition..or it is just that area??
4)The richer ones will be staying at a higher floor, and the poorer ones will be staying at lower floors.
Some of my thoughts. I also came to a very awkward situation where this PRC man, in his fifties, asked us whether do we collect man? Think you see wrongly?? yeah...he asked us whether we collect man?? he say his son does not want him...and his face is no joke, he looks sad and down.. I also dunno how to help him, just gave him a smile and went off..Awkward!!
On the same day, went with the Heritage Club to Chinatown. Chinatown was filled with people, and I sensed the homely feel. Because, the situation just looks like being in Pasar Malam..haha..It was fun because of the people that were with me, even though the food sucks!! and they call it 美食街。Tsk tsk...
Yesterday night I attended the Speak, Dress & Impress workshop organised by the Rotaract Professional Development Division. Seriously, it is an insightful workshop. The speaker was Willi Ching. The 3 hours workshop was seriously interesting. Well, was shocked that guys are asked to apply concealor or foundation.. Haha.. next thing I should do, is shopping~!! For a few interview suits.. XD
Speaking of interview, I got a call from Loyal Reliance Pte Ltd. They are offering a part time job for me, and I am meeting them in 2 more hours. For your information, Loyal Reliance Pte Ltd is a business consultancy firm where they do business advisory, business alliance and also management. Lets see what am I going to get from there..
Oh yeah, few more days to Chinese New Year and I cannot wait for it~!!!
