A trip around the Lion City

Like the title has mentioned, I have been going around Singapore and this was the reason why I came back earlier than the others. Not like I wanted it, but brother and grandma wanted to visit, so have to accompany them.It was so fun till I fall sick at the last day of the trip. (It will be as fun if I were in Ipoh) My grandma and bro stayed for 6 days in Singapore and thanks to my relative, I have known many wonderful places. I cant wait to explore these places again with my friends.

Since it is almost the end of the year, and our timing was so good that we reached a day before Christmas Eve. So, the first place to go will be Orchard Road. The streets, malls were decorated with colourful lights, and wonderful decorations. There were so many people on the street. Although it did rain awhile that night, but it did not wash away the Christmas spirit. When it is almost 12am, people all around took up the snow spray and start to spray at each other or to the air, even strangers!! Everyone is wishing one another Merry Christmas, be it friends or strangers..You really felt the warmth..haha.. This also marks the moment Singapore's street is dirty..

We continue to places such as Esplanade, Promenade, Chinatown the next day.. The walking was super duper tiring..8 hours straight..This was crazy but then, it is worth it.. The view was awesome..At least now I know where to go next time when my friends wan to visit.

A trip to Marina Bay Sands at night was awesome too..A night view of the Singapore's "Wall's Street" is just amazing. It has the feel of Hong Kong but I bet Hong Kong's one is way more nicer.. Around that area, they have a water lightshow which opens to the public and most importantly, it is free!! Everyday they have this show, and it is eye-opening..and it was the night that I got sick too..

Singapore is just a small island, going anywhere by car is just fast. Many would also think that Singapore do not have high hills, because what they have is just tall buildings.. I have found a few high hills around and been to one of it. Spectacular view from the top which spread across Sentosa and also the town area. Singapore still have places that are very near to the mother nature. =)

Singapore's mascot is the Merlion.. Merlion is a mythical creature with the head of a lion and the body of a fish. There are a total 4 Merlion in Singapore and they are one big family. People often say if you didnt get to see these four Merlion, you have not been to Singapore. So, go search for the Merlions. The father is located in Sentosa.. haha

Now, I'm back to NTU and it is time to settle down.. I hate this feeling of having to adapt again to this life because I have been home for too long..Everything looks a bit strange to me.
